The Road Development Authority (RDA) reports that toll revenue from expressways on April 11 and 12 surpassed Rs. 100 million.
A total of 297,736 vehicles used the expressways during the two days, generating an income of Rs. 102,378,800, according to R.A.D. Kahatapitiya, Director of the Expressway Operation, Maintenance and Management Division.
On April 11 alone, 163,541 vehicles contributed Rs. 54,066,450 in tolls, while 134,195 vehicles on April 12 brought in Rs. 47,012,350. (NewsWire)
